Die Khara Mittens bringen traditionelles Strickhandwerk und winterliche Muster zusammen. Die Fäustlinge aus 100 % Wolle sind mit einem detailreichen, mehrfarbigen Muster gestaltet, das sich über die gesamte Außenseite zieht. Unterschiedliche geometrische Motive und Farbbereiche geben ihnen ihren charakteristischen Khara-Look.
Innen sind die Fäustlinge mit einem weichen Fleece aus Bio-Baumwolle gefüttert. Das zusätzliche Futter sorgt für angenehmen Tragekomfort und hält die Hände auch an kalten Wintertagen schön warm.
Gefertigt werden die Khara Mittens in Nepal auf einer handbetriebenen Strickmaschine. Diese traditionelle Herstellungsweise ermöglicht die aufwendigen Muster und verbindet gleichmäßige Strickarbeit mit echtem Handwerk. Die Produktion erfolgt fair in Nepal.
Zusammen mit der passenden Khara Longbeanie entsteht ein harmonisches Winter-Set aus Wolle.

A knitted wool hat requires special care to maintain its shape and softness. Here are the steps for gently cleaning your wool hat:
Materials required:
- Mild detergent or special wool detergent
- Lukewarm water
- Hand towel
Fill a sink or bowl with lukewarm water. Make sure the water isn't hot, as this can cause the wool to felt. Add a small amount of mild detergent or wool detergent to the water. Stir gently until the detergent is completely dissolved. Place the knitted hat in the water and gently press it under the water to ensure it is completely saturated. Let the hat soak for about 10–15 minutes.
Gently press the hat through the water with your hands to loosen any dirt and grease. Avoid rubbing or twisting the hat vigorously to prevent deformation. Empty the sink and fill it with fresh, lukewarm water. Rinse the hat thoroughly until all soap residue is removed. Repeat this step as needed.
Gently squeeze the excess water out of the hat without wringing it. Lay the hat flat on a clean towel and roll the towel with the hat inside to absorb any remaining water. Place the hat on a dry towel or drying rack to dry. Make sure it stays in its natural shape and avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
Tips
- Avoid using fabric softener as it can damage the wool fibers.
- If possible, knitted hats made of wool should not be washed in the washing machine or dryer.
- For stubborn stains, you can apply a small amount of wool detergent directly to the stain and gently work it with your fingers before completely submerging the hat in water.
